WELCOME TO DALTON ARMS, GLASSON DOCK

WELCOME TO DALTON ARMS

Here at Dalton Arms, Geoffrey, Debbie, and Ashleigh run a fantastic village pub with a history dating back to the 18th century. Located in Glasson Dock, 5 miles south of Lancaster and west of M6 Junction 33, you will find us tucked away right alongside the Port of Lancaster quayside. With great views of the working dock, fantastic country walks, and abundant wildlife, we are a great place to visit. A traditional menu awaits the hungry guest. We use locally sourced ingredients, freshly prepared and indulgent, ensuring you’ll keep coming back for more. Dog owners will find our welcome equally friendly, and visitors in campervans are invited to spend the evening in our car park. If this interests you, please call ahead on 01524 753007 or email info@daltonarms.uk to check availability.

We look forward to welcoming you.

Glasson Dock is steeped in a fascinating history that we encourage you to delve into during your visit. The decision to construct a dock at Glasson was made in 1779 due to the challenges of navigating up the River Lune to Lancaster. This former farming and fishing village continues to flourish today, brimming with the rich history of British canals and maritime heritage.
